No project browser for me. This has to be a bug, and how did it go unnoticed
for so long?

As an aside, HC works as advertised. This is peculiar to LC.

Hi Charles,

could it be that what you see is related to an open "Project Browser"?

Try your code without "Project Browser" open. If the Project Browser had the
card(s) of the two stacks inspected and you just close it by dismissing it
via the red dot it will still not work. Best is to restart LC and close
Project Browser immediately and then test your script. Sometimes the Project
Browser does funny things
e.g. Bug 12654. As useful as the Project Browser is (yes, I like it) when
encountering strange behavior it is a good idea to start LC without Project
Browser.

If it is the Project Browser then that would explain why "lock messages"
helps here.

Kind regards
Bernd
