No, its broke.  Logged in as root, navigated to the download, started from
the file manager, and I get the same thing, blank window with buttons with
no text in them, and it don't work.  Running it in a terminal gives no
information.

I do have mulitarch latest version (debian has dropped ia32 as such).  Maybe
there is something else dependency?  But this is a standard debian install,
admittedly without the horrible gnome or kde, but perfectly standard
otherwise and everything else seems to work fine.
