Hi Bob, i am using ODBC to MSSQL connections on Mac and Windows for some years now with great success.
I am using system dsn and in some projects also ODBC connection strings. Advantage of the ODBC connection string is the customer do not have to create a dsn. Here are some examples of ODBC connection strings under Windows SQL SERVER Driver get revOpenDatabase("ODBC","DRIVER=SQL Server;SERVER=192.168.1.250;DATABASE=DBNAME;UID=DBUSER;PWD=DBUSERNAME;Trusted_Connection=No",,,) SQL Server Driver - connect to instance get revOpenDatabase("ODBC","DRIVER=SQL Server;SERVER=192.168.1.250\INSTANCENAME;DATABASE=DBNAME;UID=DBUSER;PWD=DBUSERPASSWORD;Trusted_Connection=No",,,) Native Client 11 Driver get revOpenDatabase("ODBC","DRIVER={SQL Server Native Client 11.0};SERVER=192.168.1.250;DATABASE=DBNAME;UID=DBUSER;PWD=DBUSERPASSWORD;Trusted_Connection=No",,,) Native Client 11 Driver - connect to instance get revOpenDatabase("ODBC","DRIVER={SQL Server Native Client 11.0};SERVER=192.168.1.250\InstanceName;DATABASE=DBNAME;UID=DBUSER;PWD=DBUSERPASSWORD;Trusted_Connection=No",,,) and under Mac using the Actualtech ODBC driver get revOpenDatabase("ODBC","Driver={Actual SQL Server};Server=192.168.1.250\INSTANCENAME;Database=DBNAME;UID=DBUSER;PWD=DBPASSWORD;",,,) Regards, Matthias Am 11.03.2014 um 18:05 schrieb Bob Sneidar <bobsnei...@iotecdigital.com>: > Has anyone had any success querying MSSQL?
