Downloading those .hqx files leaves them as .sit, and those open ok with most

I tried renaming a file to .rev, and it opened in LiveCode. The card was blank,
and LiveCode crashed when I tried to look at the card script.

I have a feeling opening a Hypercard file with Livecode is asking for trouble.

Presumably, among other things, the fact that a HC file should have both a resource fork and a 'what-ever-the-other-fork-is-called-bit-I-cannot remember' fork will not help.

Maybe open it in a text editor, or, heaven forfend, Hypercard running on a Mac running a 'Classic' system, or Sheepshaver doing the same.

Richmond.

Yeah, well, if like me, you have an iMac G3 running Mac OS 9.2.2 sitting on

things such as .hqx and 'sit should not be a headache.
