I guess to be more specific, I need to mix text and htmltext on the same line of the field
Here's what seems to work after some experimentation: set the text of line x of thefield to "xyz" -- the non-html stuff set the htmltext of char (the length of line x of field "Z")+1 to \ (the length of line 1 of field "Z")+ the length of thtmltext+1 to thtmltext.
