Noop, I just realized that the path in the original post was read specialFolderPath ("Home") & "..." So this is again a user based path. What I need is a application based path like specialFolderPath ("asup") & "...", But trying to create a subfolder in "asup" I get "can't create that directory" though I am logged in as an admin. What do you need to create subfolders in "asup"? Tiemo
