couldn't be helped and LiveCode is not turning its back on me.

Not being a computer professional, I didn't read every line of the Kickstarter 
materials.

I'm not "a computer professional" either, but at 51 I've been fooled so many times I've lost count, so when the LC Kickstarter came up I settled down for a log, hard read.

Even if nothing else this should serve as a warning to all of us to check things very carefully indeed before we commit ourselves to anything.
