AFAIK, specialFolderPath() can only take one of a specified list of arguments, and ".my Muck" is not one of them. Does it not work to do this: put specialFolderPath("Home") into hFolder put hFolder & ".myMuck/" into muckFolder set the defaultFolder to muckFolder export snapshot from group "PAIR" to file "PAIR.png" as PNG ?? -- Peter Peter M.
