the iOS thing wasn't going to
play ball on Linux: just been over to the Mac side and had a go with it.
Still . . . might not be a bad thing to make that button invisible on
Linux and Windows.

Aha; and that is why it is non-functional in LC OSS, as it won't work
with iOS.
Might not be a bad thing if that button were removed from the OSS version.
