The download and install of Ubuntu went really well. I downloaded the community edition of LiveCode, a file named LiveCodeCommunityInstaller-6_0_0-Linux.x86. That wanted me to select the application to use for opening it. I went into its properties and checked the box that said "allow to execute as application". It no longer asks me for an application, but it also doesn't do anything. I've tried double-clicking and right-clicking/Open. Neither do anything.
