Shortly after Google Plus premiered Communities, I opened one for LiveCode:

As the second-biggest social media site (it's now eclipsed Twitter), G+ is much more topic-driven than Facebook's friendship-driven model, so I find it tends to attract more serious coders (or maybe they're just much easier to find).

One of the many nice features of G+ is Hangouts, video conferences anyone can organize on any topic.

Andrew Kluthe has suggested in the LiveCode Community there that we set some up for our favorite tool.
