Packt have a very precise structure to their books, and they get authors to follow that by using a set of Word templates. Even with those templates it's possible to go wrong, but I just feel sure that they wouldn't be able to cope with a document from any other tool, unless they had someone on staff who would carefully copy and paste your nice looking text into the Word templates.
