I've run into similar clipboard weirdnesses with the Livecode clipboard. Go figure. Someone wrote a Clipboard Inspector stack that may prove useful in finding out where things are going wrong. Also note, that Microsoft products, specifically Office products use their own clipboard format that may be incompatible (at present) with the Livecode clipboard. It is my understanding that a translation should take place when switching from a MS app to other "foreign" apps, and in the case of LC, I suspect the translation is not taking place.
