I'm using the revOpenDatabase() function, which *should* know what it's doing. The same command works to open a mysql database on my dreamhost account, but dreamhost only allows dbs to be created from the panel, which is a non-starter. ALso, they only have mySql, not postgresql, another problem > Depends on how you are connecting though. Have you tried with a simple SQL >utility? Get that working first to confirm or deny your ability to connect. Can you suggest one? I failed at googling this one. -- The Hawkins Law Firm Richard E. Hawkins, Esq.
