Well, after thinking a while about how
could be distributed a free version of
LiveCode without harming the current
releases, I concluded this:

A free (an limited) version of Livecode could
be distributed as part of a bundle
with a book for teaching elemental
programming techniques.

Support could be restricted to the book exercises
and additional intermediate and advanced tasks
for brighter students.
