Your menus should work in "Run" mode, i.e. When you choose the Browse tool (you 
may need to click on the title bar of your app window first). But another way 
to test your menus is to use the "Suspend Development Tools" under the 
Development menu.

The Application Menu may look a little different and will still say LiveCode. 
Quit will also quit LiveCode, not just your app, so that's one to watch for, 
but you could add a condition to check for the Development Environment, save 
before testing.
