Mark, I tried your suggestion:
set the clipboardData["rtf"] to the rtfText of field "statement" set the textFont of character 1 to -1 of field "statement" to "Times New Roman" As soon as I click on the button that had the script above the textfont in the field "statement" changed to the font Times New Roman. And, the text pasted into the blank Pages document was Lucida Grande and not Times New Roman. Any other ideas?
