Sorry, I copied the wrong line of code that seems to be causing the problem.
After the call to create folder I then use revcopyfolder storepath,tappsupport and it is this that is putting the result as "execution error" Sorry for the confusion. But the question is does revcopyfolder (and the underlying applescript) have problems with installing on a network?
