Going to have to shell it I am sure. I don't know the specifics, but I know there are shell commands for the Mac. I came across this in a forum by googling it:
ls -l /dev/console I got: crw------- 1 bobsneidar staff 0, 0 Mar 14 09:43 /dev/console There is also env. This will display environment variables. You want the line that starts with user= What is odd here is that I am an admin, and this is showing that my primary group is staff, the unix equivalent of users. I will have to poke around some more.
