I don't think this is possible.

In that case, the object inherits the "hilitecolor" of its "owner", which can 
be a group,
card or stack.

Why not set the hilitecolor to the backgroundcolor of that namely field?
Or card or whatever lies behind the field, if the fields "opaque" is set to 
false.

The user won't tell the difference :-)


OK, this will not work if you have an IMAGE behind a transparent field.
