This works on my end, (64 bit Windows 7):
on mouseUp
set the defaultFolder to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 10.0\Reader\"
put "AcroRd32.exe" & " /a page=10=openactions
C:\TargetDocumentName.pdf" into tCommand
set the hideConsoleWindows to true
get shell (tCommand)
-- reset the default folder location back as it was if required
set the defaultFolder to specialFolderPath("home")
end mouseUp
