Bernard, I haven't solved the blocking issue yet. I will probably not be offering the full CURL suite but the code will be open source so anyone is free to patch in.
I don't know how easy it will be to port over to iOS or Android. It uses custom builds of libssh and curl, I don't know how easy it is to build those dependencies to those systems.
