Android font rendering is the stuff of nightmares. Important things to remember: The smaller the font the less control you have over how it renders in the field. it helps to have showborder OFF and it helpts to manually set the margins for each side. 4,4,4,4 instead of 4. You can probably wrestle it into submission. Probably. Good luck.
