If you have the resources, just do a Time Machine backup so you can recover if 
needed. I did an upgrade recently on my home iMac, and it completely borked the 
boot volume. Luckily I had a TM backup and it saved my arsenal. First time I've 
seen a MacOS upgrade bork a boot volume.
