I seem able to hide or show the Android status bar using the radio button in the Standalone Application Settings. I don’t seem able to to this on the fly using mobileHideStatusBar or mobileShowStatusBar once the app is running. Dictionary: "mobileHideStatusBar does not have any effect on any Android devices with "hardware buttons” embedded in the status bar.
I don’t think what I’m testing has these buttons in the status bar, though I’m new to android, so I could be confused. Even so, the fact that I can hide or show the Android status bar from the Standalone Application Settings seems to indicate that it should be possible… I didn’t see anything in bugzilla.
