I’m seeing a serious bug that seems connected to using the Remo script editor. I made a test stack that behaves the same as the original stack that lives in my personal development environment. You can access the test stack:
go stack url "http://dl.dropbox.com/u/582343/CFX_TestMain.livecode" The test stack has a substack used for a modal dialog named "CFX_Ask2". A function , CFX_Ask2(), in the script of the stack is called by a "Test" button to invoke the dialog and return the user input. In LiveCode 4.5.3, it usually works as expected. In 4.6.x and occasionally in 4.5.3, the dialog stack is deleted after the user clicks "OK". A second press of the Test button results in an error. This error pattern is consistant when I use the Remo script editor. It seems not to happen with the IDE's editor. Can anyone confirm this? I can’t seem to reach Jerry’s site from the links in Remo—or otherwise—to report it there. t -- Tereza Snyder Califex Software, Inc. <www.califexsoftware.com> _______________________________________________ use-livecode mailing list use-livecode@lists.runrev.com Please visit this url to subscribe, unsubscribe and manage your subscription preferences: http://lists.runrev.com/mailman/listinfo/use-livecode
