I'd like to know if RunRev has any involvement with this Open Source
initiative or what their take on it is?

I would imagine RunRev is aware of it, but I doubt they have any involvement in it.

IIRC this is one of several old projects from HyperCard enthusiasts over the years, including FreeCard, XULCard, and others.

I believe XION is from Rebecca Bettencourt, a project she's mentioned on the HC forum a few times over the years.

Rebecca's interest seems to be more in the language itself, and as a command-line tool without an accompanying GUI object model I'm not sure what sorts of tasks it's anticipated to be used for.

Good to see she's still at it, but definitely not affiliated with LiveCode.
