The problem with put headers is that they wont work with url calls. If your script is trying to pull data from elsewhere and process it before displaying it to the user and you need to send custom http headers for this url call, then, right now, the only way is thru shell() and cURL.
as for librarystacks with RevServer... well... that would require a new engine.
