Folks I see in the archives some discussion of this topic, but it seemed to be concentrated on the issue of reading the text in a PDF. I have to process some images which exist as PDF files (with little or no text and anyway I don't want to deconstruct it at all). I would be happy to turn the PDF into an image which could be displayed, snapshotted etc., i.e. essentially a bitmap.
I don't think LiveCode can do this natively, but can anyone suggest a route perhaps using another tool which would make this work automatically (I mean I want the user to find the file using a normal dialog within a LiveCode program and the image would then be imported without further action on the user's part)? The target platform is PC.
