Have you tried GetDataofIndex/GetDataofLine?  

put GetDataofLine(linenumber,columnname) into xyz

there's corresponding setData commands as well.

setDataofLine linenumber,columnname,value
You have to do a RefreshLine after setDataofLine to see the results in the 
datagrid.
