I've seen this happen too, where LiveCode thinks the shiftkey is down for some things. Happened just yesterday, in fact. I've also suspected other modifier keys as getting "stuck", but I'm not sure about that. This usually happens when I'm right in the middle of something, and don't have time to let it continue and test it. I just restart the IDE.
