I don't know about the "idle" part, but yes, it isn't parallel. It's easy enough to test... see if helloWorld ever happens:
on mouseUp send "myInfiniteLoop" to me in 5 seconds send "helloWorld" to me in 10 seconds end on myInfiniteLoop put "About to hose LC..." repeat forever # do nothing end end on helloWorld answer "Hello, world!" end Jeff M.
