i remember mark wadd. saying that it uses curl calls on the server, because liburl would need stack loading, which it doesn't have. because of that, it only has a few capabilities compared to liburl.
on the other hand, that was more then a year ago, so they might have changed that by now? There where server-specific documentations back then, similar to todays iOS pdf's. maybe you have one of those available?
