Right, but how is OS X going to get access to the VM and send a DOS command? Unless Wine has a way for the Mac OS to communicate with the VM os for just that purpose...
I guess I am taking the words "using Mac OS X" a bit too literally. You could run DOS in a VM, but you would not be using Mac OS X to test the DOS program. You would be using DOS. I envisioned you using the terminal to send DOS commands to an emulator. Maybe I think too much.
