I just got done using the FInd and Replace dialog (from the Edit menu) to make some wholesale changes to custom property names and any references to them in scripts. It looks like the script changes worked OK but there are some major problems with the custom property name changes in the controls. Some of them were changed successfully, some didn't get changed at all, and some controls ended up with a large number of custom properties that weren't there before the changes.
Fortunately, I have a backup I can go to so other than wasting a couple of hours work, no damage done. Can anyone suggest another way of reliably changing the name of custom properties wherever they occur? Has anyone come across any similar problems with Find/Replace?
