I bet it is still relevant, since 2020 I've (and I'm sure other people)
encountered lots of bottlenecks in the usb stack. However, when someone comes
to look at this I am sure they will take "usb storage performance" as a test
workload to evaluate.
Also I don't have a x270 anymore, it is not a modern platform we should be
expected to maintain.
