I agree with you but I don't know where I can make such a survey online. At UbuntuForums we have a large audience but the poll system only allows one question. Well I haven't thought of them all just yet but here's a sample list: - How old are you? (determines the majority of users Gnome is used by) - How do you want to connect with others online? (Will show how the user interacts with other users online and if he wants the software integrated in the DE) - What would you change in Gnome 3.0? - Do you feel you can work faster if the software allows it (is more usable)? - Do you care how your desktop looks? Some concrete, maybe: - Are you happy with the menubars and menu system usability? - How many steps you want to open a file for edit? I would very much appreciate your opinions on what the questions would be and in the best case we can define them in the list here and the make the poll(s) Best regards, Anton
