The design of the handle of the panel applets in the default GNOME theme (clearlooks) is really misleading. Indeed, the handle is represented by two vertical lines which misleads users to think that they are separation lines, similar to those used in toolbars. I guess that there probably are many other person think that the handle are separation lines. Thus, I would suggest changing the design of the handle for example in a little triangle, which is often used in elements to open a menu. Should I file a bug about this?
