Please try purging and reinstalling virtualbox-ose (aptitude purge
virtualbox-ose && aptitude install virtualbox-ose).
Then check, if the vbox.cfg script has been installed correctly.
Please also check if purging removed the manually extracted vbox.cfg before
installing it again.
