I have tried both methods:

- The one with Ctrl+Alt+F2 leads to nothing. The screen keeps being black.
Nothing happens.
- In alternative mode, it asked me for mounting the cdrom but I don't have any
cdrom. I tried to go to shell prompt and run fdisk to find which /dev/sdX is .
But fdisk is not here. I don't how to mount my usb key. I tried /dev/sda1 and
/dev/sdb1 but nothing works. What's more the default keyboard is american and I
have a swiss one.... Not really practical...

Krassus ? Could you try to do the procedure for me if you have the same
problem? Thank you.

I have also previously started the thread on a french forum dedicated to
Ubuntu. Other people are having the same problem: http://forum.ubuntu-
fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=139391&p=2

The beginning is in french and the end in english (;-)).

Thanks for your help
