Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gtkam

To see this bug:
0. apt-get install gtkam
1. Open gtkam (applications > graphics > gtkam)
2. Connect digital camera (mine is Canon SD450) -tell gnome to ignore camera if
dialog shows up-, tell gtkam what and where it is, navigate to your pictures,
make sure "View Thumbnails" is active...
3. Edit > Select all
4. See that not all pictures are highlighted, although they are selected
properly. It just looks as if some are not selected
5. Import pictures to confirm that all pictures were properly selected, though
some were not highlighted.

Expected behavior:
Selected pictures should be properly highlighted

Note: This bug did not occur in Breezy.

** Affects: gtkam (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Medium
     Assignee: MOTU
         Status: Unconfirmed
