Mark Shuttleworth decided to put the launcher on the left side of the screen,
because people usually use at most 10 apps.
Ubuntu is shipped with about 10 launcher icons. You probably espect people to:
- remove some launcher icons that they don't need
- add some launcher icons that they need
And things worked OK until a recent change.
Web apps have icons now, so more icons are going to be in the launcher, so the
launcher needs more space, so move the launcher to where it has more space. so
move the launcher to bottom.
