For the shortcut savv, there could at least be an option to reply to
notifications without there being any clickable elements in the
notification itself, for example i receive a 'hi' message in empathy, while
that notification is up i can hold ALT and reply, without changing window
focus or really intruding on my workflow at all. This would be a nice
option for the already shortcut favouring Unity.
