Hello everybody,
On the Ubuntu Technical Help mailing list, I have asked "Unity haters"
to give me some input, and tell me why they hate Unity. I did this
because I found it quite strange that so many people hated Unity from
the start, and did not want to get used to it. One person told me he
loves Unity, and that we did a great job with it in Precise. Another
told me he upgraded from Lucid on his laptop, and hated Unity because of
the changes from GNOME 2. For instance, he was used to the taskbar on
the bottom like in GNOME 2.x, and cannot get used to it being icons, and
being on the left-hand side of the screen. I thought we might use this
input to improve Ubuntu and the Unity experience. Thanks!
In Christ,
Ryan
