I don't think quicklist support for opened instanced of an app will
become default considering there are already other plans for quicklist.
I believe there is already a bug report detailing the use of zeitgeist
to populate quicklists with recently used files for quick access. I
cannot find it at the moment but it was somewhere in the Unity backlog.
