Hi Pedro,
What Mikkel is trying to convey here is that this mailing list is
solely reserved to the discussion of Unity design. The topic "Sharing a
Thunderbird add-on with you" does not fall into this category. If you
are interested in trying to get the thunderbird add-on by default into
Ubuntu, you should talk to the person in charge of Thunderbird package
in Ubuntu which is Chris Coulson through IRC.
I hope you understand. Let us try to use the mailing list in the
intended manner :)
Kind regards,
Nekhelesh

Hi,
I'm into beta testing and writing feedback to Google, Firefox and
Ubuntu.
During my Firefox beta tests, I found an add-on called Thunderbird
Conversations
(at
https://addons.mozilla.org/pt-BR/thunderbird/addon/gmail-conversation-view/?src=userprofile
)
be given a big spotlight in the Mozilla Labs Google Group
(at https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/mozilla-labs/CZbSaSpnBxE ).
It can make complicated e-mail exchanges
(you know reply, subreply, an other subreply, subsubreply?)
look like a tree
(tc.png screenshot attached)
and if you don't like a part of it or all of it, you can write feedback
to Mozilla
(at https://getsatisfaction.com/mozilla_messaging/topics/new?topic ).
Since Mozilla made it, this may be the future of Thunderbird.
Thanks for sharing your interest Pedro, but please only use this list
for design discussions related strictly to Unity. We don't have the
bandwidth to address every single app in Ubuntu.
Cheers,
Mikkel
I don't understand. I used the list to make the list's discussions
easy to follow. The bandwidth you would use is the download of a
Thunderbird add-on which is just 1megabytes or something.
