Hello everyone, I'd like to raise a small UX issue concerning external keyboards on laptops. Most integrated keyboards I know on laptops don't include a separate numpad section in contrary to most desktop/external keyboards. Now to address the issue: I always turn numlock ON on external keyboards (due to previous statement) and OFF on the laptop. On Fedora 15 (which I tried to get a first glimpse of GNOME Shell) already has implemented an great setting to automatically turn on numlock on external keyboards and off on laptop.
So I know what I'd like is possible, the question is if Ubuntu would change it's default behaviour for the proposed one. With metta, Chris
