Ahh ok.. hadn't realised that. Well that at least solves that problem. I haven't seen the slideshow for 12.04 but if it's like previous releases it's not really a tour of how to use it, so much as what features are available

Not True. When you Preinstall ubuntu as an OEM (as I do)  the user see
the Ubiquity slide show when the OEM-config starts at First Boot when
he received the machine.

However, even after that the user should have a diret access to the
Ubuntu help and especially on Unity.

the Welcome Page of the Dash should include this.
