I don-t think it is only my fault. I try changing parameter of launcher in compizconfig but it needs some attention to be shown. I use, as you can imagine, the autohide option, it is the one i prefer.
So, did anybody think about a solution that automize showing the launcher? in gnomeshell you push the meta key and have all in one session. in unity you can have only launcher or dash. that is why things are a bit more complicated. a precise movement (for example active angle...) in my opinion could help. I feel the problem when using unity.
