Well is not really that they will totally transform Osx into Ios. The thing is that both mobile and computers are reaching a point of convergence.
Phones are now more like computers and computers are now more mobile. Also a lot of people are using their phones as much or even more than their computers so if things are not too different when changing from one platform to another it makes them more comfortable and is not such a big adaptation change. Is probably why i would like to see ubuntu on the new hybrid devices. And well you can also say that "TVs" are transforming into computers. People want many of the features they have on their computers or phones to be available on their big screen TVs.
